Uno Kids ® Play, Learn
Playful Learning
An innovative educational project designed for Primary Schools, specialized in Sustainability Education, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), and Teamwork through play. Since 2020, we have been designing activities across diverse school participation formats that offer boys and girls aged 6 to 12 the opportunity to learn through play: protecting biodiversity, living sustainably alongside nature, consuming responsibly, and discovering the laws of science by designing, building, and testing.
Playful Learning
The Educational Activities of Uno Kids ® Play, Learn are designed and facilitated following the principles of Playful Learning, the cornerstone of the Pedagogy of Play project developed by the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Project Zero) in collaboration with The LEGO Foundation. This initiative develops and refines playful learning concepts, materials, and strategies that help Early Childhood, Primary, and Secondary schools place play at the center of teaching and learning. The research project originated at the International School of Billund (Denmark). To explore what Playful Learning is in greater depth, we recommend reading this article published on the Harvard Graduate School of Education website.
Playful Learning
Play is essential to how children learn: how they make sense of their world, how they form and explore friendships, how they define their own ideas, or how they begin to understand the laws of nature by designing, building, and testing. However, not all types of play foster learning—Playful Learning does.

Inclusion
All activities on our Home Learning platform are inclusive (offering a free version), bilingual in Spanish and English, and supported by educational videos featuring children themselves as the protagonists. These videos enrich the learning experience, build children’s self-confidence, and spark their natural curiosity and enthusiasm to learn. It is an opportunity for younger generations to define their own values for the extraordinary challenge we all—and especially the youth—face ahead: achieving a better and more sustainable future for everyone.
