The event is developed in two sessions. In the first session, the teams receive a briefing facilitated by a professional filmmaker, which leads into the video shooting. Once the filming is concluded, our editors cut the videos and the production team prepares the red carpet, the nominations, and the awards for the Film Festival. Whether you are looking for a team-building workshop in a small venue, or a premiere in a spectacular theatre, we have a space for you.

We have organized The Academy of Motion Picture Arts in venues as iconic as the Casino de Madrid (1906) next to Puerta del Sol, with the glamour of its endless red-carpeted staircases, all the way to the modern skyscraper Torre Porta Fira in Barcelona. The staging is adapted to the client’s budget and objectives. The extraordinary project that a professional film production of any nature entails, from shooting a short film to creating a commercial spot, represents an excellent opportunity to test a team’s capacity for work. If there is any feedback that we could share, it would be about the individual games explanations/briefings as not everyone in the Dow Jones team has English as their main language, so we felt that some things may have been lost in translation and needed a tiny bit more explanation. Sitges 1492 is an intrepid Treasure Hunt that takes place in the beautiful seaside town of Sitges. Fortuitously teams find a map that shows the location of a lost pirate treasure in Sitges back in the 15th century. However, the coordinates that reveal the exact location of the treasure are very faint. Equipped with bicycles, GPS handsets, digital cameras and everything teams need in their quest, participants begin to work achieving goals, solving team challenges and of course … having fun! A fast-paced adventure, in a stunning Mediterranean village.

Outdoor Challenge is an Orienteering Team Building Event embodying an outstanding opportunity for an off the beaten track experience exploring areas of special beauty in Spain. From volcanoes and stunning beech forests settled over lava flows to rivers and valleys, with an abundance of wildlife, we can offer you an array of magnificent settings across Spain for your Outdoor Challenge.

Orienteering is a sport and can be both competitive and non competitive, depending on your requirements. Whilst the activity is physical in nature, the courses can be set up over a range of distances and difficulty levels according to the experience of the group and their ability and the needs of the program. We run successful programs from complete beginners to experienced groups.

Our qualified outdoor instructors plot the routes and are on hand to assist groups during the event without interfering in the teams’ strategy. After the initial training on orienteering and a full safety briefing teams head out into the woods equipped with a map, a compass, a walkie-talkie and a GPS (for emergency use only). Teams navigate in sequence between all marked checked points deciding on the best route to complete the course in the nature.

The activity combines navigational challenges with (optional) integrated team tasks demanding (i.e.) Problem Solving, Lateral Thinking or Communication Skills. Depending on your preferences and what is available in the local area, we can also incorporate BTT (mountain bikes) or kayaks to be used by the teams in their course.

Upon completion of the Outdoor Challenge we all share a well-deserved meal at a charming local restaurant. Finally and depending on the needs of the program we can arrange an in-depth debrief to be held after the activity back in the hotel. Assessment of Strengths and Weaknesses, Careful planning, Team Role Assignment, Goal Setting, Leadership, Handling Burdens… magnificent lakes, picturesque fields of poppies, blue skies… Outdoor Challenge, your off the beaten track team building adventure in Spain!

We organize professional regattas with sailing cruises or Monotypes (J80, Plate 25 or Tom 28) in the most prestigious Clubs in Spain.

Corporate Regatta I Barcelona Royal Yacht Club

Sailing is a natural team-building activity. Participants have to work together well, communicate efficiently and have well-defined roles and responsibilities simply to make the yacht move! Our sailing regattas offer a unique and thrilling way to experience Barcelona Harbour. Participants sail aboard fully equipped yachts. Each team is led by qualified and experienced skippers, who will guide and encourage every member of the crew to take an active part in the steering and sailing of the yacht. Your team will first learn the basics of sailing. Unless otherwise advised, all terms will be defined assuming you are all complete newcomers to the sport. Sailing is easy, but becoming a truly expert can take years. There’s always something more to learn…once you catch the sailing bug you’ll want to learn it all!

The Director of Sailing will brief all teams on the Basic Principles of Sailing Yachts: Sailing Downwind, Sailing Upwind, Reaching -Sailing across the Wind, Stopping… Once these principles are mastered, you will have the basic knowledge required to sail off, turn round and return.

Sailing is an active sport and racing particularly does require a certain level of fitness and mobility for each of the crew to move around the boat and to pull ropes. Lifejackets will be provided, but you need to come prepared to be outside for a couple of hours. Soft-soled shoes, or boots that will give you adequate grip whilst not marking the decks are essential. Lots of warm layers are better than thick layers as you’ll get hot at times. Waterproofs are essential -golfing or walking types will be sufficient, as we won’t be venturing afloat in really adverse conditions. Sailing gloves (available from any online chandler) will also be required. It may also be beneficial to bring a change of clothes as well.

Features of the Race – Racing teams: 6-7 crew members per cruise plus a qualified skipper. – Cruises: For the competition to be as balanced as possible, all cruises will be 12- 13meters long and be identical or very similar. – The committee boat: This boat will decide who the winner is at the finish line apart from undertaking its usual duties as a committee boat.

Optional Services – Lifeboat: There will be a lifeboat that can be also used for the photo/video reportage – Sailing Trophies and award ceremony at the Royal Yacht Club – Working breakfast and lunch on the terrace of the Barcelona Royal Yacht Club. – Customised polo shirts and hats for the racing teams. – Customised side flags for all yachts. – Professional graphic reportages on digital or paper formats available upon request.

Our Team of Professionals – Director of Sailing: Our team has the honour to be led by the former Director of the Barcelona Royal Yacht Club (Real Club Náutico de Barcelona) and its School of Navigation. The Regatta Director, with eight years of experience managing the Royal Yacht Club, has been passionate and actively involved with sailing throughout his entire life organising a number of prestigious Cruising Race Championships qualifying for the Spanish National Championship. Our Director of Sailing also has experience in Corporate Hospitality at fist class events such as The America s Cup. – Skippers: Hand picked fully qualified Skippers chosen by our Director of Sailing. – Technical and Logistic Direction: Barcelona Royal Yacht Club (Real Club Náutico de Barcelona)

Barcelona Royal Yacht Club The Real Club Náutico de Barcelona is one of the most elite clubs in Europe and a favourite of the Royal Family; access is permitted only to members. However our corporate client groups escorted by our Director of Sailing may enjoy the Royal Club as members. At the end of the regatta all participants will be able to disembark at the Port Vell and enter the premises of the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona where the Restaurant Metre (Restaurant of the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona –One Michelin Star) will receive all participants with a glass of cava. If appropriated, the Race will come to an end at the Noble Hall of the Club where the award ceremony will take place followed by a delightful lunch on the Restaurants Terrace by the sea. The plot: Europe, January 1929. A mysterious plot unfolding aboard the legendary Trans-Siberian Express dispatches a one-way ticket directly to the heart of an unsolved crime. A number of passengers are traveling along the world’s longest railway line, crossing Stalin’s USSR between Moscow and Vladivostok in a cold January. At the head of the mysterious train, which consists of 5 spacious, beautifully appointed carriages, is a magnificent 2-6-2 type steam locomotive with its usual gallery surrounding the rear section.
