Teamwork
La Bicicleta Solidaria is a team building event with a “Solidarity Rally” format, extraordinarily valued by a large number of international participants with very diverse profiles and experience—ranging from young talents to CEOs of major multinationals. It will challenge your team’s soft skills in a context where the objective is clear: to assemble as many solidarity bicycles as possible. The success of the project will be directly proportional to your capacity for teamwork in key areas such as communication, shared leadership, team decision-making, or lateral thinking. Don’t settle for less. Discover the original project of La Bicicleta Solidaria ©.
A School Bicycle Fleet
Together, we reduce the barriers so that every child reaches their desk. We shorten the distance so that every student gets to school. A Solidarity Bicycle is a childhood in motion towards a future with education. Less road, more school. We create school Solidarity Bicycle fleets wherever they are needed. We present our current project alongside Madre Coraje NGO. Our current goal is to provide a complete school fleet to the Aldea del Niño Junípero, in the High Jungle of Peru, to ensure that distance is not an obstacle to learning.

In small communities such as the Aldea del Niño Junípero in the High Jungle of Peru, a bicycle can make a world of difference in a child’s education. Bicycles facilitate access to education for children and youth in areas where quality education is not guaranteed. Below, we show you some of the latest “Solidarity Bicycles” upon their arrival in 2023 at the Nopoki Shelters (Atalaya, Peru), created with the intention of welcoming young students who come from remote native communities and lack the economic means to cover their studies in Atalaya. As those responsible for the Madre Coraje NGO explain, “Bicycles are very necessary and very well received. Students use them to travel from the shelter to the city where they can go to the library or connect to the internet. Sometimes, as the shelter has cultivation fields, they even use the bicycles to move around within them.”
Due, among other causes, to drug trafficking violence in certain areas of Peru, some children sheltered by homes and villages like the Aldea del Niño Junípero are orphans, so their schooling, healthcare, and maintenance depend on the villages and shelters themselves. On occasion, the bicycles also serve so that young people can, for example, deliver the bread baked daily in the village or the crafts and homemade products with which the villages are locally financed. In other cases, the sheltered minors spend the school season far from their families in villages or foster homes such as the Casa Santa Teresita de Jesús in Puerto Ocopa (Peru) due to the great distance separating their home from the nearest school. Access to Education
- In an area where access to education is not guaranteed, a bicycle allows minors to travel long distances to school or the library more quickly and safely.
Safety on the School Route
- Increased speed: reduces time on the road and exposure to dangers or adverse weather.
- Safe return: allows for returning before dark, avoiding the lack of light.
- Efficient transport: facilitates carrying books safely.
- Vital logistics: functions as an emergency vehicle in isolated communities.
- Group protection: “fleets” foster a sense of belonging and mutual care.
- Health and Well-being
- Energy saving: Reduces physical effort, allowing students to arrive with vitality for studying.
- Child development: Avoids the extreme exhaustion of hours-long walks, protecting their health.
Reduction of Absenteeism
- Attendance: Eliminates chronic fatigue as a leading cause of school dropout.
- Academic success: Ensures that each student reaches their desk with the energy to learn.
Access to Training Workshops
The Solidarity Bicycle not only facilitates access to school, but also makes it easier for young people to travel to their Training Workshops, where they acquire essential practical skills for their autonomy. In regions where access to university is very limited, these productive workshops represent fundamental training for the students’ future. Upon returning to their communities, young people apply what they have learned, generating a real impact on their environment:
- Practical Education: Farm-workshops are an integral part of their educational curriculum. Through them, students learn skills highly valued locally, such as carpentry, sewing, chicken farming, or fish farming, among others.
- Village Self-management and Sustainability: Thanks to these workshops, young people produce food for their own consumption and generate income that ensures the maintenance of their training centers. The youth also use the bicycles for logistical tasks, such as delivering bread and crafts.
Since 2012
La Bicicleta Solidaria is a sustainable project with a “Solidarity Rally” format that Uno+Uno Team © The Team Building Co. first launched in Spain in 2012. Through this initiative, corporations such as Google, Airbus, or Caixabank have donated more than €45,000 in new mountain bikes. The extraordinary work of the human team at NGOs like Madre Coraje (responsible for managing the donation and shipping the bicycles) is key. Since 2012, La Bicicleta Solidaria © has transformed the teamwork of hundreds of people into solidarity through a very special international project that connects people, companies, and NGOs with a common goal.
A five-star event with an extraordinarily challenging and fun format. Since our production team designed La Bicicleta Solidaria ©, we have had the opportunity to share smiles and very special moments of great satisfaction with our clients and the children and youth receiving the donations. In the many years we have been producing this event, the solidarity bicycles donated by our clients continue to cover miles, adding value and bringing smiles. If you want to know more about the event, do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to help you.
We would like to hear about your project
If you have an idea for a project and want to tell us about it, we would be delighted to hear from you. Throughout the 14 years we have been organizing La Bicicleta Solidaria, our clients have donated dozens of bicycles locally to underprivileged children’s groups in Madrid, Barcelona, and Palma de Mallorca—such as the 50 bicycles donated to the boys and girls supported by the NGO Increfam.
Likewise, the solidarity bicycles reached Mapai and Chigubo in Mozambique, where the local community used them to supervise a recently implemented drinking water pipeline system, or a group of teachers in the High Jungle of Peru.

We had great feedback about the team building last Friday, everyone seemed to enjoy it and many people mentioned it as the best part of the offsite, so it was really a success! Please extend my gratitude and appreciation to all your team, I mentioned it to some of them on the day, but I really would like to make sure they all know how much we appreciated their work and smiles. Overall the whole event was very professional and hopefully helped us all to get to know each other better and feel more connected.
Traditiondata | Satisfacción del Cliente: 10
Thank you for a wonderful time yesterday. It was a resounding success! Last week, the TraditionData team gathered in Madrid for our annual offsite. As part of a team-building exercise, we partnered with Uno+Uno Team ® The Team Building Co. to assemble and donate bicycles to disadvantaged children, young people and adults in South America through the Fundación Madre Coraje. In small communities, a bicycle can make a difference in a young person’s life. The recipients use the bicycles to travel to and from their schools and libraries – which would otherwise be inaccessible – or to distribute handmade goods to local businesses, allowing them to raise an income for themselves. Capitalising on the competitive natures of our colleagues, we split up into teams and completed a series of challenges to win parts required to assemble the bicycles. “The partnership with Uno Mas Uno was a real success. Not only did it challenge our TraditionData team to think outside of the box, it also fostered a sense of kinship knowing that we were combining our work event with fun and challenging activities for such a worthy cause.” Thank you to everyone who took part!
